failų atkūrimas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Prarastų arba neperskaitomų failų atkūrimas diske. Failai prarandami arba sugadinami netyčia juos ištrynus, sugedus diskui, atsiradus jame defektų arba dėl kitokių kompiuterio trikčių ir programų klaidų. Failams atkurti naudojama speciali programinė įranga, gebanti rasti ir atkurti sugadintus, bet dar esamus duomenis diske. Pašalinus failą, jo duomenys nesunaikinami, o tik atlaisvinama jų užimta vieta, t. y. į tą disko vietą galima rašyti kitus duomenis. Jeigu pašalinus failą į jo buvusią vietą kiti duomenys nebuvo įrašyti, tai dar yra galimybė jį atkurti. Atkuriant duomenis iš sugadinto disko, atkūrimo programa ieško bet kokių įmanomų perskaityti duomenų ir bando juos sutvarkyti ir įrašyti įmanomu perskaityti teksto arba dvejetainiu formatu. Deja, ne visada pavyksta viską teisingai atkurti. Dalis duomenų būna sunaikinti, atkurtuose failuose pasitaiko pašalinių arba sumaišytų duomenų.
